Packraft Wanaka
Packraft the Matukituki River, Mount Aspiring National Park. One of New Zealand’s most spectacular mountain rivers.
Ride the wave trains, paddle into calm eddies and play in turquoise swimming holes beneath the mountains, glaciers and waterfalls of the Matukituki Valley. By the time the day is done your guide will have you paddling like a pro.
This really is the perfect mix of fun, excitement and adventure in the most beautiful landscape there is.
Life jackets, spray jackets, helmets, wet suits, lunch and snacks.
Please bring: Towel, swimwear, drink bottle, sunblock, sports shoes

Pick up point is at 99 Ardmore street outside of the i-site.
Long term car parking can be found adjacent to Pembroke Park on either Ardmore St or Brownston St. Avoid downtown CBD parking which is restricted.
We recommend allowing 15 minutes prior to the departure time to find a carpark and walk to this pick up point.
Glacier River Safari (Jet Boat + Walk + 4WD)
Join us for a full day adventure with our Jet boat & Wilderness Walk followed by a 4WD Farm Safari, climbing to spectacular views above Lake Wanaka & the Matukituki Valley. Start with a 10am Jet Boat & Wilderness Walk followed by a picnic lunch on the river bank before meeting your local guides from Ridgeline Adventures for a Highlights Safari; a 4WD Landrover adventure travelling the private back roads of West Wanaka Station, a 30000-acre deer farm steeped in history and bordering the majestic snow-capped peaks and glaciers of Mt Aspiring National Park.

Glacier Jet (Jet Boat + Walk + Heli)
Get a close up look at the huge glacial area beneath Mount Aspiring with this unique combination of jet boating, helicopter flight, and wilderness walk.
This trip is the same as our Jet Boat and Wilderness Walk with the addition of a 25 minute helicopter flight.
The day will start by jet boating deep into the mountains where you'll be picked up by the helicopter. You'll get a close up view of the cascading waterfalls and hanging valleys before landing and disembarking on the glacier or snow. From here it's back down into the Matukituki Valley to join the guided wilderness walk and return leg of the Jet Boat Journey.

Essential Wanaka (Jet Boat + Walk + Heli + 4WD)
Combine a thrilling jet boat ride on the Matukituki River, a 35-minute glacier helicopter flight and an off-road 4WD safari. After jet boating deep in the mountains, you’ll board the helicopter for a close-up view of hanging valleys, cascading waterfalls and magnificent glaciers. Capture stunning photos during a glacier landing before returning to the river below to continue your guided wilderness walk and return leg of the jet boat journey.
Enjoy a river side lunch before you embark on a 4WD adventure through the stunning landscape, take part in conservation projects and listen to fascinating tales of farming life and local history. Suitable for all fitness levels.
