Takapu

We glide along the islands Northern or Southern coastline featuring sandy beaches, sea caves and hidden coves. Coastal architecture perches above the waves and clings to this rugged rock. Following the curves takes us to the less populated sub-tropical eastern end of Waiheke. Here there is time for snorkelling, swimming ashore for a swing under the ancient Pohutukawa trees or exploring the rock pools. The most iconic Waiheke coastline and sea-life is not accessible by road – only by Sea!

Takapu is our ‘Australasian Gannet, visible from August to March and related to the Booby

We Provide

We provide towels for swimmers, beach rugs, a hammock and a few games for on-shore fun.

Bring your swimming gear and a camera.

Design your own excursion, transfer to your friends on another yacht or to a place you’ve always wanted to explore. We get it that you may not choose large crowded ferries or that the ferry just doesn’t go there!
