Cultural Experience - Book online to receive 10% off

Experience Māori culture, unique geothermal wonders, including Pōhutu Geyser, bubbbling mud pools and steaming mineral pools. Maximise your visit through our hourly guided tour and our Māori cultural performance/concert (half an hour). Explore our
backyard on our walking tracks. We have beautiful local flora and fauna, as well as geothermal lakes only accessible from our home.

Camera and good walking shoes. If wet or cold bring an umbrella, warm jacket and or raincoat. In fine weather sun protection is important! (We have rain ponchos and umbrellas available for purchase from our Admissions team).

In summer, we recommend visiting in the afternoon, as morning is our peak time. Our guided tours are at: 9.00am, 10.00am, 12.00pm, 1.00pm, 2.30pm, 3.00pm, 4.00pm. These are all approximately 1 hour long.

CULTURAL PERFORMANCE/concert TIMES
11.15am and 2.00pm (30 mins long). In summer, November until April, we have a third concert at 12.30pm.

Cultural Experience Plus Corn - Book online to receive 10% off

(Web pricing special: Adults usually $47, child $22)
Along with everything that is included our Cultural Experience package, this ticket includes a delicious sweet corn on the cob cooked in the most unique way possible: The bubblying, boiling hot geothermal waters of our largest mineral spring, Parekohuru ('murderous ripples'). Served with butter, salt and pepper. Delicious!

To collect your delicious corn:
(Winter - May until September): From our Cafe prior to 1.00pm.
(Summer - October until April): From our Corn Hut next to Parekohuru (our mineral pool) prior to 3.00pm.
Note: Please note, corn is not provided to children under 5 for this package. However, an extra piece of corn can easily be purchased on the day for children at a cost of $2.00

Geothermal Hangi Experience - Book online to receive 10% off

Along with everything that is included our Cultural Experience package, this ticket includes lunch! Feast on delicious traditional Maori hangi, cooked in the most unique way: Through geothermal cooking methods. Lunch is a hangi meal and dessert and includes: Chicken, beef, potato, kumara (sweet potato), bread stuffing, carrots, cabbage and gravy, with a hot spring cooked corn on the cob on the side. Dessert is Auntie's secret steam pudding, fruit salad, custard and cream. Tea, coffee and water is complimentary.

Along with everything that is included our Cultural Experience package, this ticket includes lunch! This delicious feast is the world-famous and unique Hangi Pie, which you can only get at our home. The Hangi Pie contains geothermally cooked chicken, beef, vegetables, stuffing and gravy all wrapped in golden puff pastry, served with green salad and hot spring cooked corn on the cob on the side. Dessert is Auntie's secret steam pudding, fruit salad, custard and cream, Tea, coffee and water is complimentary.
