Horse Ride

Our rides let you see what splendid views the area has to offer. We start off from the stable yard working our way through our fields with other animals joining up or just being curious. We ride to a high point of the Te Anau basin to earn the panoramic 360 degree view of the spectacular mountain ranges and sparkling waters of Lake Te Anau. Novice Horse Ride

A slow paced relaxing trek which is suited for those who are either complete beginners, a family with young children / elderly, or are simply pressed for time. What better way is there to experience the 360 degree breath taking views that Fiordland has to offer, than from horseback.

The trek starts off from the stable yard working our way through our fields where other farm animals will be grazing peacefully. We ride to a high point of the Te Anau basin to earn the panoramic 360 degree view of the spectacular mountain ranges and sparkling waters of Lake Te Anau. This is where we have a photo stop and your guide will take pictures of you with your camera, tell you about the area and then quietly heading back again.
