Stand Up Paddle Board

This is one of the most stunning paddle board locations you will ever encounter and the easiest way to experience the true Abel Tasman. SUP, or Stand Up Paddle boarding, is the fastest growing sport in the world.

Sit On Top Kayaks

Sit-on-Top kayaks can be hired for half day or a full day. Easy to paddle and easy to turn, easy to handle.

Some people prefer to have an open feeling rather than be enclosed like in the sea kayaks above. These kayaks are very stable, but still quite fast. They are also suitable for children or child-adult combinations. We have doubles and singles of different sizes for adults and children.

Sit-on-Tops can be used to visit other beaches or estuaries (e.g. Totaranui, Wanganui Inlet) for day or multi day hire.
